Rift-native names are answered by our own resolver over encrypted DNS (DoT & DoH). It's authoritative for registered names and nothing else — it will never invent an answer — and it quietly forwards the ordinary web on as usual.
The Rift Browser comes ready to go — DNS through the Rift, ads blocked, and the green shield on every page. Prefer your own browser? A single step points it at the Rift's encrypted DNS instead. Either way, you're back on the plain internet the moment you switch off.
